Personally I like the boots laced up, the roll down is kind of hard to pull off in the city (maybe would work if you were out hunting in a muddy flat somewhere).

The picture where the boots are rolled down, though, not so much. In normal practice, I’m not sure if I’d wear the jeans in or out. To each his own, I suppose.
